Welcome to my CS 538 Website

I hope to convey some of the most widely recognized design tips available today. They are not always the right way to do website design. As you will see, different designs and techniques are needed for different audiences. Many of you will recognize some of the example sites, as they provide both the good and the bad of website design. I hope something on this mess helps you with future projects.

Enjoy the site, and you can email me by clicking on my name below. Please post what you think on the Discussion Board so that all can see. Or, you can post to the comment form. Thanks!

Hey, Let me know if you find the extra page, too. I threw it in to review a website that just did an overhaul. I also tried something a little different on it. Have fun.

Kevin

Website notes:

  • All the hyperlinks are in blue. I hope they all change to a maroon when you hover your mouse over them. BTW, all links to off-site pages or sites will open a new window. Why would you even want to leave this site?
  • In the bandwidth saving theme, the small graphics of the examples, are linked to the full scale graphics showing the whole page.
